About Oeun Srey Mom

Since she was award as a top Female Cambodian signer in 1997, Sreymom's atmospheric folk-pop, KunTrim has gained a devoted following of fans not only in Cambodia, where she has established  popular star status but also in the U.S., Canada, Australia, France, New Zealand and around the world.

Each album has shown her growing both as a musician and actress, continually redefining herself and emerging as a major voice in the growing alternative pop and Kun Trim format.

Sreymom was born in Battombang, Cambodia, on February 1st, 1978 where she went as an ordinary little girl helping parents to make a family living by selling fruits, Vegetable and Nom Kroch door to door. Sreymom loves whisper singing while selling door to door.

​

One day she heard a Cambodian Radio and Television announcing for singing contestants. She decided to go to register in this contest and was selected as a top female singer out of 300 contestants.

Right after this top female signer award she was approached for a solo deal by a record company in Phnom Penh, Preas Vihea.  Her first top Kun Trim song was Pak Arve Min Del Khoeunh Doss.

Following this popularity many other record companies such as Pkay Pram, Makot Pich, Reymeas, Neakmeas, Bopha, Piphop Thmey, Phnom Pehn, Chapmeas, Chlong Den, Bayon, 4U, Tormeas, Pkay Preas Chan, Angkor Arkmatak, Angkokwat, Punlir Neak Hoss, MK and many many other record companies for Cambodia and international distributions. The CD/DVD album, Magazines, Television Stations and Youtube the enormously successful in Cambodia and was reissued worldwide in 2001.

Sreymom traveled throughout Cambodia to help raising awareness on poverty and child prostitution and provide gifts to many orphanage centers.

​

Inspired by her experiences and request by the Cambodian living abroad, she was sponsored by many organizations to perform in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany, Thailand and many other countries. Sreymom can sure make her audience exciting in every single show.

​

In late 2012, due to very high demand of Sreymom’s DVD productions, she was invited by many Cambodian record companies to return to Cambodia to produce more albums, after 2 years of her staying in Montreal, Canada.

​
